The Runestone Ramble is one of the first trail runs of the season in Minnesota, and one of the only trail runs in the Central Minnesota Lakes Area. It is held on Saturday, May 10 at Kensington Runestone Park, located 15 miles west of Alexandria, Minnesota, in Douglas County. Kensington Runestone Park offers 304 acres of wooded, gently rolling land, with trails for hiking and cross-country skiing, mountain bike trails, a playground area and a beautiful visitors center that tells the legendary story of the Kensington Runestone, complete with fireplace and restrooms for public use.
The Runestone Ramble course navigates the beautiful, but challenging terrain of this unique central Minnesota county park. You have two trail run options: the 7K Trail Run and the 1 Mile Kids Fun Run. The 7K course includes rigorous climbs and challenging terrain. 1 Kids Fun Run is an out and back course.
The 7K will utilize chip timing technology. Pickle Events provides the Runestone Ramble with accurate online race times and results.
Bib Pick Up on Saturday, May 10: 7:00 AM - 8:15 AM. Registration and check in will be held near the visitors center the morning of the race. Locker rooms and showers are NOT available. Indoor bathrooms are available.
