Our mission is to expand access to cross-country skiing, inspiring lifelong participation and building a healthier, more resilient community.

What do we do?

  1. Support our High School and Middle School Nordic Ski Programs. Each season we provide low-cost ski rentals and raise funds through our annual raffle in order to grow access for students, remove financial barriers, and to provide team bussing and lodging.

  2. Community Engagement. Through events like our annual Runestone Ramble Trail race and special events, we seek to grow a more active, healthy, resilient community.

  3. Youth Development Programs. We provide opportunities for youth to gain access to cross country skiing early and develop their skills as they mature through the Alex Nordic Kids Club (MYXC), Summer Ski Club and Camps, as well as our Junior National Qualifying Team.

  4. Trail Advocacy. We work with county and local entities to develop trails, acquire grooming equipment and explore snow-making possibilities to ensure reliable ski conditions.
